It’s not a typo... we mean FREE!

Thanks to funding from the Imperial Oil Foundation, we have started putting together materials for mathematical presentations and activities in the “Math Circles” style.  That is, with lots of interaction and activity backed up by hands-on materials as well as physical and electronic resources. 

If you are anywhere in Nova Scotia and would like us to visit your school for FREE, please contact Angela Siegel (Program Director) at mathcircles@dal.ca

Price:  FREE!

Location:  Your school/venue. 

Format: Our presentations can accommodate your needs.  We can fit our presentations into your school program.  We can work with anywhere from 45 minute class session to a 2-hour evening presentation.

Topics:  We are currently expanding our list of topics.  If you have an area that interests you, please don’t hesitate to ask about incorporating that topic area.  Our presentations each hit on various high school curriculum outcomes.  Some topics, from a large list, that we could present for you include (but are certainly not limited to):
